Coronavirus and the SG programs until July 1, 2021

Last verified: Monday 22 April 2021, 15:00 p.m.

Studium Generale follows the TU/e policy regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19), which is based on RIVM guidelines. For Studium Generale, this means that - until further notice - our programs will be offered online as much as possible. Please keep an eye on this website for the latest news and updates.

Until July 1st 2021 (end of quartile 4) the following changes will be in effect:

  • All planned lectures will only be shown online via livestreams on our Facebook page and YouTube channel.
  • The Studium Generale film program will be shaken up.
    • No offline inhouse movies until July 1, 2021
Due to the extended lockdown and little certainty about the date for the reopening of the cinemas and film houses, it has been decided there will be no offline film program in Natlab or Filmhuis De Zwarte Doos until July 1, 2021. But fortunately, we can still offer you some great movies and documentaries online.
    • Some films/documentaries will be shown online.
Like earlier in quartile 3, some online films/documentaries with USE registration will be offered in quartile 4 too.
    • Student discount on online Natlab PICL arthouse films
Students can watch art house films online with a discount on PICL's Natlab page. Check here for more info.

SG & USE registration
After watching an entire live streamed program that bears the USE label, it's be possible to register for USE via an online registration form that will be provided during the livestream. More information about SG & USE regulation and conditions can be read on the USE page on this website.
