Popular indie rock band Pip Blom performs on April 25

When international music magazine Rolling Stone calls you "Cobain-isch" in your talent to say a lot with few words*, then you are definately doing something right. And that is exactly what indie rock band Pip Blom does. It all started with a girl named Pip who recorded a number of songs in the attic at the age of 19. Since then, the sky is the limit. Come and see Pip Blom perform with an energetic live show in Corona, Luna building on the TU / e campus on Thursday 25 April.

The 22-year-old Pip Blom, who lives in Amsterdam, started writing, recording and releasing her own indie-pop tunes in 2016. Her first songs, which she simply uploaded to the internet, quickly collected thousands of views, which prompted Pip to form a band to start performing live.

Since then the band has played more than a hundred gigs and are well known from their appearances in small cafes to the European festival circuit, such as Eurosonic Noorderslag and The Great Escape. Big names such as Surfer Blood, Franz Ferdinand and The Breeders asked them to participate in their European tours.
