Is your creativity eager to emerge? Are you that secretive artist or tinkerer who is quietly waiting to be discovered? Are you an artist who knows how to express his/her ideas or feelings in a personal way? Then we offer you, as a TU/e student or employee*, thé chance to show your work to the public on the open expo: "Artistic heroes like you".
In October 2021 the exhibition ‘Artistic Heroes’ will take place, as part of the Lustrum TU/e 65, and you can be part of it with your drawing, painting, photo, textile work, collage, sculpture, woodcarving, poem, short film or any other form (2d or 3d). Whatever you have created and what you want to share with the public will be shown there. Several dozen TU/e employees and students have already taken the step and submitted their work. It promises to be a scintillating event, so this is your unique opportunity to join and show the artistic, creative side of the TU/e community.
Let us know before April 1 what you would like to exhibit. This can be something that is already finished or something you still want to make and can be finished before May 15. In principle, work from all applicants will be exhibited. We would like to consult you later about the number of pieces and the precise details. All participants will be interviewed about their work and background, so it is not only about the artistic piece of work itself, but also about the person behind it. Along with the exhibition, a booklet will be published, highlighting the TU/e student/employee, the story behind the maker and the piece of work. The exhibition will take place in Atlas: the entire month of October 2021.

- Short motivation/explanation
- Dimensions of the work(s)
- The technique used
- Value to be insured
- Whether it’s framed or unframed
