Do you love Halloween because it gives you the perfect excuse to scare the crap out of everyone you love? Or maybe you’ve always wanted to know how scary makeup effects are created. Or maybe you just want to look like Dracula just took a bite out of your neck……

The image above is an example of a professional makeup artist. This may not be a possible outcome of the workshop.

This workshop is a master class in horror makeup. In this workshop, you will learn how to create realistic creepy effects to shock everyone around you this Halloween. You’ll be amazed at how simple tricks can create optimum results. We’ll be working with professional makeup artist materials, fake blood, and other special effects materials.

From a loose fingertip to a hole in your hand, gunshot wound or a broken nose, cuts, scrapes, loose skin or missing teeth, anything is possible. Get into the horror vibe and join!

This workshop will be held by Désirée Bluyssen. She is a professional makeup artist for film, theater and all kinds of entertainment. With decades of experience, she knows how to deliver quality and inspire you to find your own qualities as a makeup artist.

In the evening, we will show It: Chapter One, so after the workshop you can take a seat in our Zwarte Doos film theater and add some extra scares to the cinema experience! (and shock your fellow horror filmgoers).

Don’t forget to buy a film ticket here, if you want to see the movie.
