Tin Men and the Telephone sold out

Thursday, March 3 2016, 8:30 PM - 11:00 PM (sold out)
Gaslab

Many concerts pretend to be ‘interactive’, but this band really put their money where their mouth is. The trio Tin Men and the Telephone is the ‘Endboss of all bosses’ in the world of interactive concerts.

Simply download their app and you’re able control what’s happening on stage. Through voices of for example TomTom or football commentators you’ll be able to influence the musical trip full of jazz, hip-hop, Balkan and classic.

Three musicians, raised with the sounds of (modern) classical music, hip-hop, Balkan and contemporary jazz, deliver jazz in a new form. Challenging, tempting, funny, evil, but always with great musical depth and strong rhythms.

In the performance of Tin Men & the Telephone, everyday life events provide the source for musical, theatrical and visual inspiration. Elements normally unnoticed are being picked up and transformed: call center calls, TomTom directions, yelling football commenters, street sounds, and even animal sounds.

Musical genius and bandleader Tony Roe presents a new show, Tinmendo, and a new line up. Tinmendo is the live stage remote, an app for iPhone or Android, with which the audience can influence everything that’s happening on stage.

‘It is rarely seen and heard that good humor and exciting music are combined so successfully.’(Vrij Nederland).
