Do you keep putting things off when you know you shouldn’t? Are you tired of feeling stressed and overwhelmed? In this talk on understanding the psychology of irrational delay, you’ll gain insight into why it’s difficult to overcome, and how some strategies may help.

Many people think of themselves as procrastinators, but no one wants to be one. Wendelien van Eerde studies time, procrastination, and work motivation. She explains why we procrastinate and debunks a persistent myth: you don't perform better under pressure. No, you really don't.

Dr. Wendelien van Eerde is associate professor at the department of leadership & management, Amsterdam Business School, University of Amsterdam. Her research focuses on motivation, procrastination, and other time-related behaviors in the workplace.
