This workshop consists of 3 sessions.
In this crash course, we’ll discuss concepts central to analyzing film and help you determine what makes a film stand out from others. By looking at films and discussing them in the group, you’ll learn how you can look at films in a way that allows you to see how the filmmaker uses his tools and what effect it has on you as a viewer.

The workshops will be led by Brendan Vos, former assistant programmer at Eindhoven’s arthouse cinema and programmer at several other (film) festivals. He currently teaches film and television as a freelancer and works on film productions when time allows it.
