Celebrating their 40 year anniversary, music centre The Effenaar comes to the Gaslab and, together with Studium Generale, organizes a night for admirers of the Beatles, Pink Floyd, The shins, Wilco, Motorpsycho and Arcade Fire.
"Plumb" is the fourth album from Sunderland based band Field Music, a small masterpiece with sixteen beautiful songs. The brothers Peter and David Brewis still form the core of this British supergroup. The outcome of their experimental approach are slightly theatrical and trippy pop songs and with members from Maximo Park and The Futureheads the musical qualities of Field Music are an obvious result.
