Auditorium Blauwe Zaal

The cartoon series South Park has been satirizing many aspects of American culture since 1997 and has a massive cult following. Dark humor, political incorrectness and surrealism all contribute to the popularity of this adult sitcom. According to Brian Dunphy  (Brooklyn College, New York) there is however more to Kyle, Stan, Kenny and Cartman than meets the eye. He sees South Park as a modern day form of satire that has roots that go back hundreds of years.

Come and learn how South Park characters represent various political and social groups within American society.
