Pecha Kucha is a well-proven Japanese concept that translates as ‘chit chat’. It is an open podium for presentations that take exactly 6 minutes and 40 seconds. The concept is simple: 12 speakers tell their story in 20 images, 20 seconds for each image. Stories are based on the speaker’s fascination or passion; this can be virtually anything from a dream, a new product or technology, to your favorite vacation spot or idea for a party. After exact 400 seconds – 6 minutes and 40 seconds – it’s the next speaker’s turn.
Coming from Japan, Pecha Kucha has spread to over 750 cities, including London, San Francisco, Mexico City and Berlin. Pecha Kucha Night Eindhoven is produced jointly by TAC, Studium Generale, Capital D and the High Tech Campus Eindhoven.
