On consciousness sold out

The idea of consciousness  has baffled philosophers for centuries. Although we all have first-hand experience of being conscious, we have great difficulty defining consciousness, or locating it within our brain, our body, or indeed anywhere in the material world of the sciences. In the last decades the topic has also become an important field of study in psychology, neuroscience and artificial intelligence. Philosopher and psychologist dr.
