Join us for a guided tour of an exhibition about mankind's eternal dreams of the future.
It's inherently human to think about what the future might look like. Our ability to imagine what lies ahead has driven innovation, shaped cultures, and defined the course of history.
On this guided tour in the iconic dome of the Evoluon, you will learn what the future has looked like in the past through the RetroFuture exhibition. RetroFuture explores how people imagined the future in the past and what our expectations of the future are today.
What seemed strange not so long ago is now familiar (think of video calling). What was once unimaginable is now normal (think of flying). Many visions of the future remain science fiction (think of time travel). What does this mean for how we look at the future today? What can we learn from yesterday's futurists?
The exhibition is curated by Next Nature, an international network of makers, thinkers, educators and anyone interested in the debate about our future.
Join us for this excursion, look back at the future, and be inspired to think about our own.
