A failed door-to-door salesman cunningly tries to turn the McDonald brothers’ little burger restaurant into the biggest fast food chain in the world.
In this controversial story behind the founding of McDonald’s, Michael Keaton plays the part of Ray Kroc, a failed door-to-door salesman of milkshake machines. On the verge of his own bankruptcy, he meets the brothers Mac and Dick McDonald who run a successful burger restaurant in the south of California. The base of their success: a revolutionary and incredibly fast production process. The ambitious Ray Kroc makes the two dream of an enormous franchise: McDonalds! But when Kroc joins the company, the brothers find out he has very different plans for the enterprise.
