‘Nope' follows some residents of a lonely Californian backcountry canyon. They are involved, as horse trainers, in the making of a new film project. When random objects start falling from the sky, causing the death of horse ranch-owner Haywood, his children, ranch-owning siblings OJ and Emerald Haywood, attempt to capture video evidence of an unidentified flying object. They then become witnesses to an eerie and chilling discovery.

Language: English, subtitels: Dutch

Oscar-winning director Jordan Peele rocked the modern horror genre with Get Out and then Us. Now he's back with his most recent pop nightmare: the grand horror adventure Nope. The sound design alone is reason enough to come and see this one on the big screen!

Reviews
“Jordan Peele’s brilliantly horrifying ride to nowhere”. The Guardian.

“Peele really is the magician disguised as a filmmaker. Nope is the sleight of hand so slick you’ll never question how the trick was pulled off”. The Independent.

“Jordan Peele’s quirky spin on an alien-invasion thriller” CNN.

“The film is chock full of details that will make your brain crack. At the same time, from the camera work and music to the exquisite sound design, Nope is definitely a film for the senses. One that is in the tradition of the blockbusters of the 1980s, full of Spielberg-like shots of characters looking anxiously and hypnotized at the sky.”  Volkskrant
