Would you like to experience modern art while engaging in an honest conversation with someone you have never met? We invite you to join this interactive adventure of getting to know strangers through art.
This activity is a Student Take-Over , where students have the opportunity to use Studium Generale resources to create an awesome Studium Generale program without our interference.
In this activity, you will be part of a group of 3 and by the end of the activity you will know the other participants and yourself a little better. The goal is to break down social barriers, by making interactions more dynamic, and foster connections while experiencing art together at the van Abbe Museum. Each group will be given a suggested route to follow and a deck of cards with questions designed to stimulate interesting and honest conversations. The route will take you through the museum, and you will make a few stops to engage with the artwork and discuss it with your group mates. At each stop, you will take out a card with a question on it. The team is encouraged to discuss the question together. After the route is finished, the group will be asked for some feedback before they are free to continue roaming the museum if desired. or visit the café for a drink ‘on the house’ to keep the conversation going.
