Student Take-Over

Thursday, October 22 , 12:00 AM - 12:00 AM
Location: you decide

Do you have an idea, topic, speaker, artist, musician or filmmaker that you think more students should know about? With Student Take- Over, you can turn your idea into a real Studium Generale event.

Student Take-Over gives you the chance to step into the role of program maker. You develop the concept, invite guests, speakers, performers or artists, and help bring the event to life. During the event itself, you’ll introduce the program and host the event. Whether you want to organize a lecture, debate, film screening, performance, workshop, cultural event or something completely different, we’re looking for ideas that can interest and inspire a broad student audience.

Student Take-Over is meant for individual students or a small group of friends with a strong idea. It’s not a platform for promoting a student association, committee, organisation or existing initiative.

If your proposal is selected, you’ll work closely with the Studium Generale team to make it happen. We’ll guide you through the process and help with the practical side, while giving you plenty of room to shape and develop the program yourself.

Curious what other students have organized? Check out previous Student Take-Overs here.

So…got a bold idea? Send it to us by email, or just drop by the SG office, Auditorium room 2.02, for a coffee with David and Liza and a chat about what you’d like to organize. We’d love to hear what you have in mind.
