Their inspiration came from the streets. Now they bring hip-hop dance and urban sports to the theater. The performers of the ISH Dance Collective combine contemporary street forms with traditional disciplines such as ballet, theater and classical music.
In this performance, musicians, free runners and hip-hop dancers gather at the edges of the stage. What happens when the rhythms of these different disciplines merge or clash?

ISH Dance Collective
Choreographer, artistic director and founder Marco Gerris has been successfully finding his way off the beaten track for over twenty years. Inspired by street culture, ISH brings hip-hop dance and urban sports to the theater. ISH makes dance out of elements that you would not immediately label as dance.
