Are you interested in getting some firework happening in your head? Would you like to learn about- and try a method that can improve your coordination, learning- and reading abilities? To mention a few. And are you up for a fun and well spent 45 minutes? Then you are very welcome to participate in one of the four Ronnie Gardiner Method (RGM) workshops as part of TU/e Summer University. You will be introduced to the basics of the RGM and the idea behind it. Also you will participate in a few fun exercises to experience how it all works and feels.

The Ronnie Gardiner Method is a challenging and structured multi-sensory exercise method for the brain. It combines rhythm and music with motion, speech and cognitive challenges as part of a workout with the intention of enhancing the condition of the brain.

The RGM was developed by the American jazz drummer Ronnie Gardiner. He intended to create a method to help children with their musical- and motoric development. However, it soon became apparent that the method was beneficial in healthcare for people suffering health issues related to the central nervous system as well as in education, for (young) people with e.g. dyslexia, ADHD, burnout and/or depressive symptoms. And in general it's for anyone who wants to boost the condition of the brain.

The workshops will be lead by André de Jong and one of his co-workers. He was the first RGM practitioner in the Netherlands and co-founder of RGM Nederland in 2012.
