In this hands-on workshop, you dive into the world of photo forensics: the investigation of the authenticity, manipulation, and origin of photographic images.

Peter Lipton is a forensic image analyst who assists courts, NGO’s, international news media, and photo competitions such as the World Press Photo in analyzing images and determining their authenticity. In this workshop, Peter offers a behind-the-scenes look at his profession, showing how he applies various techniques to analyze images to uncover how they were created and whether any alterations have been made.
