Two skilled piano players, both studying at the TU/e and member of the Eindhoven Student Music Association Quadrivium will show their talents at the grand piano. Concert pianist Mariana Izman will give them feedback, advise them and will be their source of inspiration during this evening, that is like a musical adventure for both performers and audience. Everyone is welcome. There is no entrance fee.
Jan Heemstra, studies Software Science and Applied Mathematics at the TU/e. He has studied hard to master the incredibly difficult 3rd movement from Prokofiev’s 7th Sonata for several years and is looking forward to get advice how to further improve.

Jan Pieter Rooij, is in the process of finishing his master in Computer Science. He plays with various orchestras and choirs, among them Vokollage. Besides playing the piano during solo concerts he also plays the guitar in his rock band Silence.

The Dutch-Moldovan Mariana Izman is a much praised concert pianist who teaches at the prestigious Yehudi Menuhin School in London and won many prizes, among them Grand Prix ‘Vlado Perlemuter’ in France and the Dinu Lipatti Piano Competition in Bucharest.
