Woensdag 30 september , 12:40 - 13:40
Blauwe Zaal, Auditorium
Prijs: Gratis (Student / PhD / EngD) Gratis (Medewerker) Gratis (Anderen)

Can we eat our way out of the climate crisis? The food choices we make have great impact on the world around us. According to Frank Holleman, the founder of Fork Ranger, this is the key to solving climate change. In this interactive lecture, he will share facts and insights about eating sustainably whilst making it fun along the way.

Please note: This program will end at 13:40, and it is not possible to leave the hall before the end of the program.

Frank Holleman is one of the founders of Fork Ranger, a platform that translates climate science into accessible infographics and recipes. He’s the author of the (cook)book Solving Climate Change with Food and speaks about the positive impact that each person can make through their lifestyle.

Frank uses data and gamification to show which food choices have the greatest impact on our ecological footprint. With a playful and hopeful tone, he invites everyone – from vegetarians to meat lovers – to contribute to solving climate change through the food we eat.
