Ambitious and forward oriented cities are competing with each other to attract high quality workforce and promising startups. In this quest for talent social media is a marketing enabler and a communication instrument. In his presentation Peter will present real world options, solutions and pitfalls based on his experiences building Eindhoven as the focal point of a world class high tech region.
Peter Kentie is managing director of Eindhoven365, an organization responsible for the citymarketing and brand building of the Eindhoven region. Until October 2011 he was Marketing & Media manager at football club PSV Eindhoven. Peter was named Sport Marketeer of the Year 2008. In 2009, he received the social marketeer award for PSV's social media strategy. Peter Kentie is also a former member of the board of the renowned Dutch Design Week and is co-founder of STRP Art & Technology festival.
