Banks and bonuses: a difficult marriage uitverkocht

Dr. Kilian Wawoe
Donderdag 11 mei 2017, 12:40 - 13:35 (uitverkocht)
Blauwe Zaal Auditorium

Unlike the bankers themselves, most people believe that bonuses contribute(d) to the banking crisis. In this lecture, dr. Kilian Wawoe explains why bonuses are used in the financial industry and how they relate to the banking crisis. He will share both his scientific findings and his own experience regarding this topic.

Dr. Kilian Wawoe worked for ABN AMRO for 12 years as senior Human Resources Manager. In 2010 he left the bank to defend his dissertation on rewards in the financial industry. Today he works as consultant for banks and as part-time assistant professor in Human Resources at VU University Amsterdam.

This program is part of the TU/e Finance Week and is organized in cooperation with B&R Beurs and Studium Generale.
