Rory and Carrie and their kids move from a safe American suburb to a mansion in conservative eighties England. The materialistic Rory isn’t being honest about their financial situation and loses himself in his work, looking for the fastest way to get rich. In the meantime, Carrie has trouble adjusting. The couple become alienated and their family seems to be falling apart. How far are they willing to go to keep up their perfect charade?
The film stars Jude Law (Sherlock Holmes, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald) and Carrie Coon (Gone Girl).
