Kiki’s Delivery Service is a charming coming-of-age tale from Studio Ghibli and director Hayao Miyazaki. It follows 13-year-old Kiki, a young witch in training, as she sets out to find independence and purpose in a seaside town with only her broomstick and her talking cat, Jiji. Gently paced and full of warmth, the film explores themes of self-doubt, creativity, and growing up with a rare sense of empathy. Through hand-drawn skies, cozy bakeries, and whimsical adventures, Kiki learns that true magic lies in believing in oneself. This is Miyazaki at his most tender and uplifting.
