Beetlejuice is back for a new round of supernatural chaos! In this much-anticipated sequel to Tim Burton’s 1988 cult classic, the mischievous Beetlejuice is summoned once again, this time by a new generation seeking his chaotic brand of help.
With quirky humor, stunning visual effects, and a dash of the bizarre, the film promises to be a thrilling, ghostly adventure.
Genre: dark comedy, slapstick, fantasy
Language: English, subtitles: Dutch
Lydia is still traumatized by Beetlejuice, and her life is completely turned upside down when her rebellious teenage daughter Astrid discovers the mysterious model of the town in the attic and accidentally opens the portal to the afterlife. Unrest reigns in both worlds, so it can't be long before someone says “Beetlejuice” three times, invoking the tormentor’s return to shake things up in his own unique way. Burton, who has essentially created his own genre, directs based on a screenplay by Alfred Gough & Miles Millar (“Wednesday”).
And yes, you can easily watch this one without having seen the original.
