Bam Bing Chilling! Slip and slide into the fifth edition of the Conduct Festival where SG once again joins the ranks. We proudly present Gladde Paling at this electronic music festival: the king of troll ‘n bass and meme-techno.
Conduct Festival, born in the hearts and minds of LUCID, the Industrial Design student association, combines light and sound with a line-up that builds up in energy. In the past, Studium Generale has contributed with acts such as Le Seton, Collective Conscience and Elias Mazian.
This year we present the überhype of hypes: Gladde Paling. Call it a trigger-happy drop extravaganza, call it ravey, or just call it a dubstep and drum ‘n bass-inspired trip down memory lane, mashed up with samples, via memes and soundbites to old DOS video games. In little more than a year, Gladde Paling – which translates to slippery eel (we prefer ‘Smooth Eel’) – has taken the Dutch scene by storm, making ever increasing ripples.
But Conduct is more than that… think about the so chill and funky hiphopkid with a Ghanaian soul Kay Slice and the danceman on the decks Mike Mago. Check out the rest of the line-up here.
