Prijs: Gratis (Student) Gratis (Anderen)

During TU/e’s 70th anniversary Lustrum, we are proud to bring the World Press Photo exhibition 2026 to our campus. Shocking, gruesome, beautiful, and breathtaking, the exhibition showcases the most extraordinary and fascinating press photography of the past year. It reaches millions of people worldwide, and this year Eindhoven is once again one of the cities hosting this renowned exhibition.
Visit the exhibition for free in the Atlas Building on the TU/e campus.

From devastating conflicts and political upheavals, to the climate crisis and ICE arrests, the award‑winning works highlight some of the most pressing issues facing the world today. By bringing these important stories together, the exhibition encourages greater understanding and awareness of current events, and serves as a reminder of the vital importance of press freedom across the globe.

The winning photographs were selected by an independent international jury from tens of thousands of entries submitted by photographers from countries all over the world.

Connecting the world with the stories that matter
The World Press Photo exhibition reaches approximately 4 million people in 100 cities across 45 countries. The photo contest began in 1955, when a group of Dutch photographers organized an international competition in Amsterdam. Its immediate success led to the annual event it is today.

Opening hours
The exhibition is open from Tuesday 6 to Wednesday 28 October 2025.

  • Monday to Friday: 07:30 – 20:00
  • Saturday: 12:00 – 17:00
  • Sunday: Closed
