On this Thursday 15 December you can witness the stunning performance of the NSJO
Dutch Students Jazz Orchestra 2016 in the Gaslab, with soloists Pete Philly and Yoràn Vroom. The evening is followed up by Wicked Jazz Sounds with a line-up that guarantees the most groovy night in Eindje.
The Dutch Students Jazz Orchestra (NSJO) is a young and enthusiastic band consisting of 30 students from all over the country. Every year the NSJO brings jazz music to a young audience in revolutionary ways. In 2016 the NSJO combines hip-hop and jazz: tight hip-hop beats enriched with groovy jazz melodies. They don’t do this alone: none other than Pete Philly, one of the founders of the Dutch hip-hop, is front man of the NSJO 2016. And drummer Yoràn Vroom does his part with a strong rhythm section. You can expect a dazzling show full of steaming hits, tight beats and jazzy sounds.
Didn’t dance enough during the show? No worries. Wicked Jazz Sounds takes over the room for a WJS Club Night ‘where jazz meets dance’. They bring a mix of jazz, hip-hop, soul, funk, house, latin, electronica and more. Tonight an exclusive set of Wicked Jazz Sounds DJ’s and live musicians. A legendary club night with delicious beats and unrivalled tastes.
