What is more exciting than the intriguing pictures of the World Press Photo exhibition? A tour through the exhibition in the middle of the night of course! On this tour we’ll explore the stories behind the shocking, horrifying, beautiful, and breath-taking news photos of the year. Not by the light of day, but in a completely dark exhibition space with only flashlights to light our way.
World Press Photo is the world’s biggest international press photography contest. This year 4,548 photographers from 125 countries submitted 73,044 images. A total of 42 photographers from 22 countries were awarded in eight categories. In the exhibition the more than 160 winning images are shown.
