You don't have to be in Rio during Carnival to experience the overwhelming power of a samba batucada. Percussionist Michiel Westerhuis will teach you all about this magnificent percussion brigade that every student can be a part of during the Luna Festival on April 1st. So join in and have a blast!
All kinds of drums and percussion instruments together create a fascinating and fast paced sound. It is going to be TU/e’s biggest rhythm squad of the year, and you can be a part of it.

Luna Festival 2023
This samba batucada workshop is part of the Luna Festival; an annual cultural event that is organized by the student culture associations in Eindhoven. On Saturday April 1, 2023, the 5th edition of the Luna Festival will take place. This years’ theme is "Years of Culture" and all the cultural associations of V.S.E. Scala will work together to create a wonderful program with performances and workshops in all kinds of cultural disciplines.
