There is no such thing as a standard brain. Each of us is a unique human being with our own way of perceiving, thinking, feeling, communicating, and expressing preferences and talents. However, not every talent gets the chance to flourish. The standard ways of working, learning, and leading don’t always fit everyone’s needs.
Please note that the lecture ends at 14:10. It is not possible to leave the room earlier.
What is needed to help every brain (including yours!) thrive? How can we create environments where all minds are recognized, supported, and celebrated so that we can benefit from the full spectrum of ideas, perspectives, and knowledge? Find out by joining this interactive lecture with neurodiversity and inclusion expert Saskia Schepers, who will explore these questions in a vibrant, positive, and practical way.
Drs. Saskia Schepers is a coach, trainer, and speaker who helps people and organizations unlock their full potential. With her background in psychology and leadership development, she inspires others to see neurodiversity as a source of strength, creativity, and connection. She is the author of two books about neurodiverse brains: Als alle breinen werken (When all minds thrive) and Als alle breinen leren (When all minds learn).
This program is organized by Stichting DonaTUes in collaboration with Studium Generale. DonaTUes aims to create a support network around neurodiversity. This network allows students, professionals and partners to come together, share ideas, and make education a place where everyone can thrive.
