Crisis fatigue is real. Climate anxiety, mental health struggles, political chaos… it's easy to feel overwhelmed. But what if someone could connect the dots and offer a fresh, creative way to look at it all? Meet Lucas De Man: a dynamic storyteller who blends global insights with down-to-earth action steps, just what your curious, overclocked brain needs.

In his book Waar gaat het heen en wat kan ik doen? (Where Is It Going and What Can I Do?), Lucas explores nine themes that shape our future: democracy, erotica, agriculture, death, construction, loneliness, economy, mental health, and work. Wildly different? Maybe. Deeply connected? Definitely. With over 150 interdisciplinary projects with scientists, thinkers, practitioners and creatives in 20 countries under his belt, he’s uncovered patterns, mindsets, and solutions that challenge the status quo. Now he brings these stories to the stage in an inspiring talk with creative ideas you didn’t know you needed.
