In the midst of a future war between the human race and the forces of artificial intelligence, Joshua, a hardened ex-special forces agent grieving the disappearance of his wife, is recruited to hunt down and kill the Creator, the elusive architect of advanced AI who has developed a mysterious weapon with the power to end the war -- and humanity itself.
When was the last time you could go and see a science fiction film without having seen the prequel, the sequel, or the entire series? This stand-alone sci-fi film is a refreshing exception to all the Hollywood blockbuster franchises. The soundtrack and visuals are a feast for the senses. It is a big screen experience that will allow you to forget about your upcoming exams for a moment and take you to a possible future where the lines between right and wrong are not as clear as we are used to seeing in this genre.
Please note that there will be no film on Monday April 1st due to the Easter holidays.
Reviews
“The action is genuinely exciting and, perhaps most importantly, the concept of “Artificial Intelligence” is given more than lip service.” ReelViews
“The Creator is likely to stand as the most impressive and immersive sci-fi movie of the year.” The A.V. Club
“The Creator marks the first time, it seems, that the filmmaker stepped out from the shadows of franchises and dipped back into what made him stand out in the first place. He's proven to have a flair for mesmerizing visuals, a tongue-in-cheek sense of humor, and plenty of pathos.” Film Threat
