Location: To be announced, in Eindhoven though
Time: 13:30 - 19:00
During this Social Heroes activity, you’ll bake spring waffles together with residents of ‘Archipel Dommelhoef’, a care organization that offers specialised housing, care and wellbeing support for people with a chronic physical disability or condition.
Together you’ll prepare the batter, bake the waffles and, of course, enjoy them together afterwards. This activity is about sharing time, working side by side in the kitchen, and creating a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.
Not everyone speaks English fluently. Communication is often simple and informal, and with a few basic Dutch words, some gestures, and an open attitude, you’ll quickly find your way.
Dinnertime
After the afternoon activities, we’ll come together from approximately 17:00 – 19:00, at Keukenconfessies in the Klokgebouw, StrijpS. This shared dinner is a core part of Social Heroes, a moment to exchange stories, insights, and a few laughs with fellow participants.
You’re expected to join us for dinner. A small contribution of €7.50 is included in the registration price.
