Jazz in its purest form -- that’s what the free Studentproof Swing Sessions are all about! Meet us at the Muziekgebouw to experience the music as it comes to life, from the first notes of rehearsal to the energy of a jam session.
Eindhoven’s student jazz association Studentproof Jazz kicks off the evening with an open rehearsal, led by conservatory lecturer and musician Marc van Rooij. A unique chance to see the music come to life — from the first notes to the final performance.
After the performance, the stage is yours during an open jam session. Do you play an instrument yourself? Bring it along and join in! Do you prefer to sit back and soak up the vibes? That’s equally welcome.

Studentproof Jazz and Muziekgebouw Eindhoven team up
This night is a collaboration between the Muziekgebouw and Studentproof Jazz. As Noël, board member of Studentproof puts it: “With the Studentproof Swing Sessions, Studentproof offers a place to grow musically and, above all, meet fellow jazz lovers. A little mastery of your instrument (or voice) and a healthy dose of motivation are all you need. So, come listen, play, and dive into a night full of swinging jazz!”
