Photo Impression | Workshop gebarentaal (sign language)

A group of 30 students, for a short moment, delved into the world of the deaf community! Participants explored the history of Dutch Sign Language, learned basic signs, and gained insights into deaf culture and communication. Guided by Jorien, Steffie, and Arash, the workshop offered hands-on experiences, practical tips, and a glimpse into the challenges and tools used by deaf individuals. It was a fun session filled with learning and interaction.

(This workshop was conducted in Dutch.)

Some reactions from participants:
"You get closer to other cultures. This time, the deaf community, bridging the divide."

"It was great that we could ask him so many questions, and I found the workshop incredibly informative!""

"Appreciation for organizing such an inclusive workshop!"
