Photo Impression | Woord & Wetenschap: het kwetsbare én veerkrachtige brein

How do our brains work, and what happens when something goes wrong? During this eighth edition of Woord & Wetenschap, neurologist and researcher  Michel van Putten  took the audience on a fascinating journey into the world of the brain, sharing remarkable stories from his own neurology practice. There was plenty of room for questions, while violinist Suzanne Groot provided musical interludes.

Visitors described the evening as “very accessible and clear” and praised the clear explanations and the ample opportunity to ask questions. The violin music was also appreciated as “a refreshing change of pace.”

Woord & Wetenschap is a public program organized by Eindhoven bookstore Van Piere and Studium Generale at TU/e, making science and technology accessible and engaging for everyone. This program was in Dutch.

Take a look at the photos by Maud Staassen for an impression of the evening.
