Set against an apocalyptic landscape of discarded plastic, Soundtrack of the Plastic Age by Rogier De Nijs Group fused music and activism in an unforgettable performance. Crafted from plastic waste, their instruments created an eerie, immersive soundscape that challenged the audience to rethink their relationship with waste. Accompanied by Plastic Soup Surfer Merijn Tinga’s urgent lecture, the experience transformed trash into a resonant call for environmental action.
Reactions from the audience
"Never saw a band performing with plastic instruments before, definitely a unique experience."
"A wonderful evening... visually, audibly, and informatively inspiring, providing an extra boost in awareness. It’s inspiring to see how small steps can truly make a difference. At the same time, it highlighted the vast network you can—and should—tap into for this cause."
