From mind-bending visuals to moving stories, Kaboom Animation Festival 2026 brought the best of contemporary animation to the TU/e campus on 14 October.
During this special screening at Filmhuis De Zwarte Doos, visitors enjoyed seven award-winning animated short films from Kaboom Animation Festival 2026. The selection offered a mix of styles, stories and perspectives, showing just how creative, surprising and powerful animation can be. Maarten van Gageldonk, Head of Program at Kaboom, introduced the films and shared insights into the world of animation.
