On November 13, 2024, the Havelok Percussion Quartet delivered a captivating lunchtime performance at the Blauwe Zaal, Auditorium, as part of the TROMP Festival (rated 4.9 out of 5 stars). The ensemble performed 'Balinese Gypsies' by Florian Magnus Maier, a dynamic composition that fuses the rhythmic energy of flamenco with the rich traditions of Balinese music. Additionally, they played Philip Glass's 'Aguas da Amazonia,' a piece that mirrors the majestic flow of the Amazon River through rich harmonies and repetitive rhythmic patterns, evoking a sense of purity and movement.
