Photo impression | FOREST: a life-size theater board game

It's crisis! The trees on this planet have collectively decided to stop giving oxygen if any of them are cut down. And without oxygen, of course, we won't last long. The world is foresting fast, and that has big
consequences for our way of life.

On May 18 and 19, 2022, Studium Generale, in collaboration with STRP, organized the life-size board game FOREST, developed by Emke Idema. In the interactive theater radio game the participants, mostly TU/e students, set out to build a new world order in which survival remains possible.

FOREST is a game in which the imaginary tree crisis forms an urgent starting point in view of climate change and the role of trees and people in it. A game full of dialogue, confrontations, cooperation, empathy, leadership and above all lots of fun.
