Will AI surpass humanity? Not according to Dr. Federico Faggin, the visionary pioneer who invented the world's first commercial microprocessor. He strongly disagrees with the popular notion that the human mind is essentially an advanced computer.
On June 4th, we organized a panel discussion in collaboration with the Essentia Foundation, where experts in the field, dr.ir. Regina Luttge, Hans Busstra, prof.dr.ir. Maarten Steinbuch and Dr. Faggin explored the implications of AI for understanding consciousness and the search for purpose and meaning in a technologically advanced society.

"Federico Faggin had some really interesting theories that had me considering what I find to be my personal truth. He definitely added to the way I understand human consciousness. "
"Great opportunity to witness substantial and opposing debate."
"Interesting discussion, but a lot of speculation."
