Need a break from the Intro Week buzz? Step into our Short Robo-Films Cinema and let yourself be swept away by a dazzling mix of robot stories and AI adventures. From 16:30 to 20:00 you can drop by Filmhuis De Zwarte Doos (the black building next to the festival grounds). No stress, no rush—just pop in whenever you feel like it!
Normally our cinema treats you to arthouse gems, animations, the occasional blockbuster, and eye-opening documentaries. But today we’ve cooked up something special: four short films, all about robots and AI.
Headliner: I’m not a Robot – the Dutch short film that just won an Oscar for Best Live Action Short.
Plus: three animated shorts curated with the legendary Kaboom Animation Festival, exploring the weird, wonderful and sometimes downright hilarious world of robots.
So, whether you’re looking to spark your brain or simply chill in a comfy cinema seat: grab your (new) student friends and swing by. Everyone’s welcome, not just freshmen!

Pssssst….make sure you don't miss out on the outdoor movie Paddington 2 in the first week of classes.
