On 29 November, student symphony orchestra Ensuite and student choir Vokollage will bring the Dutch premiere of Creation, a new oratorio (2024) by American composer Dan Forrest, to the Auditorium on the TU/e campus, and you’re invited to experience it for yourself.
Forrest, known for his clear and accessible style, often draws inspiration from his Christian background. In Creation, he combines that spiritual perspective with a broader appreciation for life on Earth. The piece is inspired by Haydn’s Die Schöpfung and described by Forrest himself as “a score to my own mental Planet Earth film.”
A special moment for Quadrivium
For Quadrivium, this concert marks the final event of their 60th anniversary lustrum project. To celebrate the occasion, Ensuite and Vokollage will take the stage together, a collaboration you don’t see often, as they usually perform separately.
