SG Student Take-Over: Parktheater edition

Do you have an idea that could make the world a little better? Something small, something quirky, or something wildly visionary? This is your moment to step into the spotlight!

During the Nieuwe Maan Festival (New Moon) in January 2026, you as a student get the chance to present your dream program on the stage of Parktheater Eindhoven. Whether you want to write a climate song, give a theatrical talk on AI, or create a soundscape to help crops grow better, everything is possible.

Why join?

  • You’ll receive professional coaching from Parktheater to shape your idea into a real program.
  • You’ll present your concept to a wide, curious audience at a major Eindhoven festival.
  • You’ll collaborate with Studium Generale and Parktheater, so you won’t be doing this alone.

Who can join?
Every TU/e student who dares to dream, doubt, and create. Whether you’re a seasoned organizer or simply have a brilliant idea, you don’t need to be an expert. We’ll help you get started.

So…
Do you have something to say, to show, or to make us feel about the future? Let us know! Send us a short proposal of your idea before October 15, and who knows, you might soon be on stage at Parktheater.

Want to know more or brainstorm about your plan? Drop by Studium Generale (Auditorium 2.02) or email studium.generale@tue.nl.

Nieuwe Maan festival (New Moon Festival) – A festival full of ideas that can change the world.
New Moon brings together theater and knowledge in an inspiring program of hopeful stories about the future. The moon symbolizes transformation and collaboration, chasing dreams that once seemed impossible, just like that very first step on the moon.

From January 6 to 31, 2026, Parktheater Eindhoven transforms into a breeding ground of ideas, dreams, and experiments. Expect thought-provoking “Moon Speeches,” surprising performances, and boundary-pushing creations, all centered around one question: how can we shape a brighter future together?
