The coronary pandemic has stirred things up quite a lot in society. Many things changed and things are still moving. For Studium Generale it also meant we had to adapt our program to the new situation from one day to the next, since we could only offer our programs online. We were used to organizing lectures, theater performances, concerts, workshops, films and expositions for audiences in physical places such as De Blauwe Zaal, Filmhuis De Zwarte Doos or in the Luna building. Suddenly this was no longer possible, and like many others we had to make the shift to the online environment. Not all of our programs turned out to be suitable for this, but fortunately we could and still can offer a lot of programs, especially lectures, online via a livestream. This allows bachelor students to continue to register for SG&USE during most of our live streamed programs.
A positive aspect of the shift to online is that many of the online programs, podcasts and photos can now be viewed and listened to 'on demand', so at any time it suits you best. To make it easy to select a recent program of your interest, we have set up a 'On demand' section on this website, in which you can see at a glance what interesting topics have been discussed recently.
