Get Ready for Quiz Night XL: TU/e Edition!

Mark your calendars, TU/e students, employees and alumni! On December 12, 2024, the Auditorium building on TU/e Campus will transform into a lively hub of friendly competition, brainy fun, and community spirit. Quiz Night XL is back! Whether you're a student, professor, staff member, or alumnus, everyone has a shot at glory. Don’t miss the opportunity to engage with the TU/e community in this lively, fun-filled vibe.

What’s in store?
Doors open at 19:00, and the quiz kicks off at 19:30, running until 22:30. With teams of up to five players, this is your chance to gather your sharpest friends or colleagues and dive into an evening of trivia hosted quizmaster Julinka van Keulen, alongside the beloved ‘resident professor,’ Barry Fitzgerald. Together, they’ll guide you through rounds of questions ranging from science and technology to gaming, famous inventions, and even some quirky puzzles.

Feeling creative? Come up with a catchy team name and show off your coziest or quirkiest outfits. The team with the most flair will take home a special prize!

Warm up with a winter feast
Why not start the evening with a hearty meal? Before the quiz, head to the WinTU/er Village in the Atlas building for a delicious winter buffet. Enjoy traditional Dutch dishes like wortelstamppot (mashed carrots and potatoes) and boerenkoolstamppot (kale mash), with your choice of smoked sausage or vegetarian options, followed by coffee, tea, and a Christmas cookie.

Tickets for the buffet are just €8.50 per person and limited to 200 people. When registering for the quiz, you can opt for a buffet ticket for each teammate or book a combo ticket that includes your quiz table and five buffet meals.
