As of this week, SG is opening a new mini library! We love books a lot (maybe a little too much) and sometimes we end up collecting more than we actually need. Starting in December, you can find our one-of-kind miniature library (built by student assistant Evan!) next to the SG office at Auditorium 2.02.
The books in the library are free to take, swap, or borrow and return. You might recognize some of the books from previous SG lectures you attended, like The Creativity Code by Marcus du Sautoy (the lecture is still available online) and Mijn nazi-opa by Sunny Bergman. Our kickoff selection includes a variety of popular science and non-fiction books, as well as novels from our personal collections.
You can also donate a book yourself. All languages and genres are welcome. Just make sure that any books you donate are clean and complete. You can connect with other TU/e readers by leaving a recommendation on a sticky note or by sharing a message, quote, or insight in our guestbook.
We hope you’ll stop by to browse and/or share some of your own excess books with the TU/e community.
Happy reading!
