Did you know TU/e is home to a remarkable post-war art collection? In two short clips from StayTU/ened, two Studium Generale colleagues, Britte Sloothaak and Olga Coolen take you behind the scenes of the surprising world of art on campus.
Meet Britte in the clip below, TU/e’s art conservator, as she guides you through some of the collection’s most special works and shares what it takes to preserve them for the future. Her personal favourite…Hella Jongerius' Loom Room in Neuron.
Then head down to the basement of the Auditorium (in de second clip below) with Olga, where TU/e’s hidden art lending library holds around 900 artworks that staff members can borrow for an entire year. Art at work, literally.
Watch the clips and discover a side of TU/e you might not have seen before.
